Choosing an Online Psychology Degree
What to confirm before enrolling in an online psychology program.
Is it really fully online?
Delivery mode and study intensity are separate: a program can be online and part-time or full-time. Some online programs require residencies, supervised placements, clinical training or proctored exams on site. Do not assume otherwise unless the institution confirms it.
Recognition
Ask whether the exact program is accredited by the relevant body and whether it meets registration requirements in your jurisdiction. Institutional accreditation alone does not settle this.
Costs
Check the billing basis (per credit, per year, per term) and whether domestic and international fees differ. If tuition is not published, ask the institution; do not assume it is low or free.
